On May 11, 2026, the Inaugural Meeting of the 9th Committee of the Refractories Branch, Chinese Society for Metals, and the First Plenary Session of All Committee Members were solemnly held in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. Relevant leaders of the Chinese Society for Metals, committee members of the Refractories Branch, and entrusted representatives—nearly 70 attendees in total—participated in the meeting.The handover meeting was presided over by Wang Wenwu, Chairman of the 9th Committee of the Refractories Branch. The meeting proceeded in an orderly manner in accordance with the established agenda, successively convening the 8th Committee Working Meeting, the 9th Committee Leadership Election Meeting, the 9th Committee Elected Leadership Meeting, and the First Working Meeting of the 9th Committee.At the meeting, Mr. Liu Xuexin, Chairman of Smile Co., Ltd., was appointed as a Member of the 9th Committee of the Refractories Branch, Chinese Society for Metals. Smile will leverage the platform of the Branch and its own technical expertise to remain dedicated to its core business with craftsmanship, continuously strengthen technological R&D and quality control, actively fulfill its industry responsibilities, and contribute to the high-quality and sustainable development of China's high-temperature industry and refractories sector, empowering and driving progress across the industry.
