Carrying Forward the Red Legacy and Upholding the Spirit of Daring to Fight: The Party Branch of Hubei Smile New Materials Co., Ltd. Conducts a Revolutionary Tradition Education Activity
To celebrate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on June 30, 2025, the Party Branch of Hubei Smile New Materials Co., Ltd. organized Party-member representatives to Hong’an, Hubei, to carry out a themed education activity titled “Following the Footsteps of Generals and Inheriting the Revolutionary Spirit.” During the visit, participants toured the former residences of three founding lieutenant generals: Wang Jinshan, the real-life inspiration for Li Yunlong in the TV drama Drawing Sword; Zhan Caifang, an early revolutionary mentor to former President Li Xiannian; and Hu Qicai, a commander in the Battle of Tashan.
In the solemn and dignified setting of the generals’ former residences, Party members gained a profound understanding of the spirit of “Drawing the Sword” through precious historical artifacts, detailed photographic and written materials, and vivid scene reconstructions. They were deeply moved by the revolutionary predecessors’ firm ideals, indomitable fighting spirit, and selfless spirit of sacrifice.
Following the visit, the Party Branch held a special seminar. Drawing on their own work experience, the participants spoke actively and unanimously expressed their commitment to taking the revolutionary forebears as role models, strengthening their political character, and integrating the red legacy of loyalty, responsibility, and dedication into their daily work. They also pledged to act as pioneers and set examples in production and operations, while continuously improving their capabilities with a strong sense of urgency and mission, so as to contribute wisdom and strength to the company’s high-quality development.
This educational activity was not only a journey to trace the roots of revolutionary tradition, but also a meaningful exercise in Party spirit and personal reflection. Taking this event as a new starting point, the Party Branch will continue to deepen Party history education and translate this spiritual inspiration into concrete actions that support the company’s development.
